Another hard session today. Series of 7 efforts of progressively reducing cadences trying to sustain the same power output and HR for each effort. Each effort was 5 minutes in length with 2 minute "recoveries" in between. I use the term "recovery" loosely!
Managed the first 3 efforts at 300W, then dropped it to 290W for the next 3. Legs unable to produce 290W down at a cadence of 60 on the last effort so had to drop the power to 260W in order to complete the session.
Hard work but I'm sure it's good for me!
