From the looks of things it's not going to be long before the field mushrooms start to appear so I'll be keeping a careful eye open for rich pickings for breakfast :-)
On the way home walked through Alnwick to have a look at the newly unveiled statue of Harry Hotspur which at the moment is very impressive, though I'm not at all convinced by the location. Sadly I fear it may well become a target for mindless vandalism, let's hope I'm wrong.
