Continued with my plan today and did a recovery spin at about 175-200W keeping my HR well down, quite enjoyable really. Did a cheap and cheerful power output test tonight which showed that my current power output at a stable 150BPM is 285W so I'll keep an eye on that and see if there are any developments over the next few months. I am going to call this value my 150Output, tonight's result is therefore:
150Output = 285W
When my lactate meter eventually arrives I am going to measure my lactate concentration on a monthly basis, again at 150BPM. Over time, if my training is working, it should fall.
