Long steady ride with Mark and Neil. Took things steadily as this was a hilly route including as it did 4762' (1452m) of ascent. I reckon as this was over 60 miles (Cheshire Cat just under 100) and includes about 452m MORE ascent than "The Cat" a finish of well under 6 hours in "The Cat" is very doable. Today's ride 24.2metres per mile of ascent, "The Cat" approximately 10 metres of ascent per mile. Cumberland Challenge estimate is about 27metres of ascent per mile, so not far off today's balance.
