Tyneside Vagabonds Mountain Time Trial

The 56th edition of the Tyneside Vagabonds Mountain Time Trial in Northumberland saw a battle of time trialling legends as 11 times BBAR Kevin Dawson (Sportscover.com) and National 12 Hour and 24 Hour record holder Andrew Wilkinson (Port Sunlight Wheelers) both tackle the event for the first time.  They will be challenged all the way in the race for the first prize of £300 by former winner and local rider John Tuckett (Activ Cycles) and another first time rider, Richard Handley (Team Raleigh).

Other former winners of the event riding this year are Martin Gibson (Adept Precision R.T.), and Ian Norris (Activ Cycles) who joins John Tuckett and John Sturman to lead the challenge for the team prize.

Below is a list the riders reaching the top of the final climb which I hope will be of interest and at the foot of this post a video of the riders as they tackled the final climb. I apologise for the inevitable errors, it wasn't always possible to read the race number clearly and at least one rider didn't seem to have a number but he looked as if he was in the race, I suspect he wasn't! In the end this is an amateur effort and I've done my best. The riders in the list below as are as close as I could get them to the order the riders passed me at the top of Garleigh Moor, just over a mile before the finish. Let me know of any errors and I'll try to correct them.
