These Alpen Bars, either the regular ones or the "Light" version illustrated here must be one of the biggest rip-offs in terms of misleading packaging on the market. When you buy one of these bars it looks like this and you think you are going to be getting a nice little tasty and reasonably healthy snack, this is what it looks like unopened.
Now we come to the interesting bit! If you open the end of the packet and take the contents out whole and lay it down beside the empty packet the picture below is what you actually get to eat and NO I haven't had a big bite out of it, that's all you damned well get!
I don't know about you but I reckon that's simply disgraceful!
