Another session completed and I have to confess that I quite enjoyed it, what a saddo! Steady session, not too hard and not too easy, 5x5 minute 250W efforts with 5 minute 150W recoveries.
The interesting point I have established is that at my present level of fitness 5 minutes at 250W keeps me just inside Z2 with my HR not going above 138. I feel I could ride at that level all day and I take some encouragement from that. Interesting to note that a 5 minute 250W effort done not long ago saw an average HR of 143.
Here's hoping for a good night's sleep, I have a 10 mile turbo trainer TT tomorrow, now that won't be fun.
