Ashingtom loop from Alnwick. To Ashington on the A1068 then turning East to Pegswood then North towards Longhirst. Return via the minor roads through Ulgham and Guyzance climbing Shilbottle to finish.

Very hard hilly figure of eight loop. Start Alnwick and go to Rothbury via Newton-on-the-Moor and Longframlington. From Rothbury to Elsdon staying South of the River Coquet and crossing Billsmoor. From Elsdon climbing to Winter's Gibbett and on to Rothley Crossroads then turn North to Coldrife and back to Rothbury via Forestburn Gate. Back to Alnwick from Rothbury climbing past Cragside, crossing the A697 and finally climbing Corby's Crags and back over the moor to descend into Alnwick.
