Wednesday (not) Training

Hi

IT'S MY 50TH BIRTHDAY!

Right, that's that out of the way! So, I think reasonably, no training today. Lorena and I went out for a lovely meal and it's generally been a nice day, I'm not a one for big celebrations so this was just as I wanted things to be. Back in the saddle tomorrow.

  3. I need a goal. Getting fatter and fatter and fatter. I've started a food diary this weekend and trying desperatly to get something going. Off for a ride this pm, day off and the sun is shining. I'll be spinning - as soon as the road goes up my HR goes into the red-zone!!!!!!

    I'll get there - Flora is only 9 months away.... will probably sign-up for Etape next year since it'll be in the Alps and I NEED A GOAL.

    Hmm.. yes, you need to establish some control.

    FWIW I'd try to do it in small stages rather than full bore and then founder. How about a 2 pronged attack for a week, say NO chocolate (or whatever your poison is) at all to wean yourself off it and sign up mentally to doing 3 steady training sessions, no more, no less, and then take it from there.

    Manageable?
