Not too long a ride today, did the usual Alwinton circuit but missed out the extension over to Rothbury but did modify the route to include a climb of Lemmington Bank at the end to round things off, EEK!
Ride went generally pretty well and managed to avoid getting too much of a soaking by setting off at 07:30, the heaviest of the rain was forecast for later in the day. Well, what can we expect, it is August after all, and more of the same forecast for tomorrow.
Quite pleased with today's normalised power of 261W which is a little higher than I've been seeing which is encouraging, about 4000' of ascent in this route and hardly any flattish sections where you can really roll along so all in all an Ok outing.

Also completed my scheduled 5 mile walk, went along the disused railway line towards Alnmouth, very nice it was too, planning to take the camera and do the route in the reverse direction for tomorrow's walk. Check the route out below:
