How ironic this is. Today is the day we remember and pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the world wars. This newspaper headline from today's Daily Mail pretty much sums up what things are coming to in the UK in terms of personal responsibility and political daftness.
Would the war veterans, if they could all read this, think that this was the sort of government and society that was worth laying down their lives for? I very much doubt it.
The article went on to say that the obese would also be given rewards for buying healthier foods, just how bonkers can things get, I truly and honestly despair. How long is it going to be before those in power realise that this sort of nonsense achieves nothing and just makes them a laughing stock.
Hmm.. hang on, I just walked up the stairs, can I claim an allowance for that, as a healthy option?
