Just pondering how Le Tour might pan out. Seems to me that LA for example knows EXACTLY what his current power to weight ratio is @ threshold and therefore must know EXACTLY whether or not he is in with a shout for a podium place. I've read that something between 6.0 and 6.7 W/kg @ threshold are required to be in the elite band who are in with a chance, wouldn't it be just great if we knew the latest test results!
Mighty impressed to read that he has lost 25lbs in weight during his comeback and is now 160lbs, back where he was when winning previous tours. Apparently Ivan Basso has predicted that Armstrong will be a "rampaging beast" in France.
Shame he's going to have to use up all that energy keeping the wind off his team leader Bertie! ;-)
