Back to my 100-400W slope session which I think is starting to yield some benefits and if nothing else does give my higher load training a bit more of a boost. I've still not tried to ride as far as I can manage on this session yet but today took it up to around 340W which was far from comfortable having already ridden at above 300W for around 8 minutes by that stage. The average wattage for the last 8 minutes of the session is 319W which is sure to be having a beneficial training effect.
So, all in all the session went fine and as always contributed to my ongoing weight management programme which is still heading in the right direction.
