Saturday Training

I'd been told to look out for this beautiful tree on my way home from today's MultiRider ErgVideo session and it stood out like a beacon. Certainly well worth stopping for the photo for the time it took, not sure of the species but may have to investigate that.

Setting up the ErgVideo and MultiRider software packages went completely to plan and we rode 90 minutes of the Ride to the Tour video at 95%of FTP. This is a challenging ride with a couple of lengthy climbs early on, the second of which is annoyingly just above threshold wattage and is pretty uncomfortable :-/

CTL holding steady this week and am hoping very much to get out on the road tomorrow for a steady ride, planning to try to clock up a TSS of about 150 so a decent ride of about 2.5 hours would be just fine for that, plans will all depend on the weather.

Really enjoyed watching the prologue of The Giro this afternoon, wonderful win for Bradley Wiggins, just hope they have got a Maglia Rosa to fit him! Seeing the start of The Giro did once again bring it home to me how close my departure time is, just 52 days to go now! Three weeks from today I'll be riding stage 2 of the "Tour du Nord" - a 416 mile self organised tour, my equivalent of using The Giro for training for the Tour de France! :-)
