Second scheduled rest day today which was nice. Had plenty of things to sort out this morning related to the forthcoming "Leading The Tour" ride and was on duty at the hospital for the afternoon and early evening. Followed all this up with a visit to see Dear Old Mum.
It's nice to be able to tell my Mum the stories of what I get up to on my jaunts as she so enjoys to hear what's going on even though she is very limited in what she can do herself. She is looking forward greatly to following progress on the ride through France and will have a wall chart etc. set up for the event! Seeing loved ones get older makes me even more determined to enjoy as much of life as I can whilst I am able to do so.
